D.3 Subtract 20 30
Subtraction 0-100 In this fun subtraction game, young math learners practice subtraction, using numbers, number words, and everyday objects such as colorful fruit, fingers on a hand or bubbles. Equations appear at the top of the screen. Equations are written vertically or horizontally. Some equations have a blank, which is displayed as a dashed white line. The blank can be the result of one number subtracted from another, or the number being subtracted from, or the number being subtracted. Math learners can select the correct answer from the options that appear at the bottom of the screen. When each stage is complete, an exciting reward animation displays colorful flying balloons and animated gold stars to show the number of correct answers. Example #1: A row of 3 strawberries - 1 strawberry = blank. Learner must touch the number 2 at the bottom of the screen, since 3 - 1 = 2. Example #2: 6 -5 = blank. Learner must touch the number word “one”, since 6 - 5 = 1. Example #3: 13 apples - 12 apples = blank. Learner must touch the group with 1 apple, since 13 - 12 = 1.
